By the Grace and blessings of Allah Almighty, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud arrived in Riyadh last week from abroad after a successful therapeutic trip.

Upon arrival, the monarch expressed thanks to all well-wishers, regretting that he was not able to shake hands with everyone of them. He sent greetings to the Saudi people, including men, women and children and expressed thanks to them for their noble feelings, wishing them every health and happiness.

A boy and girl extended to the monarch two bouquet of flowers to express their joy of his return to the country. In an official motorcade past roads decorated with welcoming placards, banners and national flags while a big number of citizens chanting national songs, carrying the monarch's photographs and Kingdom's flags and greeting him rowed at the side of the road. Making his way to his palace, the King exchanged greetings with his people by waving his hand to them. At the palace, folk dance bands were awaiting him to express jubilance of his safe return.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has left Casablanca, Morocco, early morning heading for home.

He was seen off by Prince Turki Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz; Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to Spain; Prince Khalid bin Talal bin Abdulaziz; Abdulwahed Al-Radhi, Speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives; Mohammed Halab, Governor of Grand Casablanca; Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Bishr, Saudi Ambassador to Morocco; and member staff of the embassy.

King Hamad made a statement on the occasion of King Abdullah’s arrival in Riyadh.

The following is the text of speech of King of Bahrain:

'On the occasion of the auspicious return of our brother the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to his country after God Almighty bestowed recovery upon him, we would like to express our happiness in particular and the rejoice of our people in the Kingdom of Bahrain in general,

We express our congratulations and blessings to both the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; the royal family and our brother the Saudi people on this dear occasion to everyone,

We also take advantage of this opportunity to express to the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, our appreciation and thanks of their support for their sister the Kingdom of Bahrain in addition to their keenness on its stability and prosperity,

We appeal to God Almighty to bestow perpetuated health and wellness upon the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and to guide him to what he loves to continue the march of the good and prosperity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia'.

Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, expressed happiness for the return of King Abdullah to the homeland following a successful medical treatment trip.

During his absence, he was following-up every detail related to the country's day-to-day affairs, Prince Sultan said, adding that the Kingdom has witnessed a giant developmental achievement and that many developmental projects are on the way.

Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Education, expressed welcome of the return of King Abdullah to his homeland following a successful therapeutic trip.

In a statement, he said 'this is of course a happy day for the Saudi people and myself as it witnessed the return of the monarch among us'.

The General Secretariat of the Islamic Fiqh Academy (IFA), which is affiliated to the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), congratulated the royal family and the Saudi people on the return home of the nation's leader King Abdullah after recovery.

The General Secretariat of the Islamic Fiqh Academy prayed to Almighty Allah to keep Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud healthy to continue his great efforts for the prosperity of the country and the spread of Islam.
