Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, received President of Spanish Senate Javier Rojo.

During the audience, the Crown Prince lauded the cooperation relations between the two countries under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and the Spanish King Juan Carlos.

The President of Spanish Senate hailed the relations between the two friendly countries and expressed the keenness of Spain to develop these relations.

The audience was attended by a number of Princes and senior officials as well as Spanish Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Pablo Bravo.

Crown Prince Sultan also received in Riyadh Saudi Ambassador to Norway Khalid bin Ali Al-Nafisi.

At the outset of the audience, the Crown Prince congratulated the Saudi Ambassador and expressed optimism that he would succeed in performing his duties and serve as the best ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier and contribute to the consolidation of relationship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Norway.

The audience was attended by a number of Princes and officials.

Meanwhile, on behalf of Crown Prince Sultan, Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, patronized Riyadh this week the opening of the exhibition and international forum on general education.

The Ministry of Education is organizing the four-day event in Riyadh. The event features international speakers and exhibitions by specialized local and foreign companies.

A speech ceremony was held on the occasion.

A Show was presented highlighting education progress in the kingdom.

Prince Salman delivered Prince Sultan's speech which highlighted the importance of investing in people and education.

After delivering Prince Sultan's speech, Prince Salman made a statement in which he praised Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's speech and orders issued this week.

Then, Prince Salman opened and toured the exhibition accompanying the event.

Also in Riyadh, Prince Khalid Ibn Sultan Ibn Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General for Military Affairs, received the Chief of Jordanian Staff Lieutenant General Mishaal bin Mohammed Al-Zabin.

During the meeting, they exchanged cordial talks and discussed a number of topics of common interest.

The meeting was attended by Chief of General Staff General Saleh bin Ali Al-Mohayya; Prince Khalid Ibn Bandar Ibn Abdulaziz, Deputy Commander of Land Forces; and Chief of Intelligence Staff of the Armed Forces, Air Vice Marshall Ahmed Obaid Al-Qahtani.

Prince Khalid also received Eritrean Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammad Omar Mahmoud.

During the meeting, they exchanged cordial talks and discussed a number of topics of common interest.

On the other hand, the Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf said that the Ministry of Finance has completed the necessary procedures to implement the royal decree to disburse two months' salaries for the State's military and civilian employees as well as students of higher education in the Kingdom and those who are on scholarships.

In statements to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Finance Minister pointed out that coordination has been conducted with the ministries and government departments to complete the procedures for the disbursement of the Two Months' salaries from allocations of the budget of each ministry and government department and that they should not associate the disbursement of these two salaries with the date of the disbursement of regular monthly salaries.

The meeting was attended by Prince Mohammed Ibn Salman Ibn Abdulaziz, Special Advisor to the Governor of Riyadh Province; Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Ibn Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Member of Majlis Al-Shura Mohammed bin Homoud Al-Rashid; and Advisor to the Governor of Riyadh Province Dr. Awwad Bin Saleh Al-Awwad.

Prince Salman also received Republican Congressman from Illinois Aaron Shock and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, they exchanged cordial talks and discussed matters of mutual concern and ways of the enhancement of bilateral relations between the two countries.

The meeting was attended by Prince Mohammed Ibn Salman Ibn Abdulaziz, Special Advisor to the Governor of Riyadh Province, and Dr. Awwad Bin Saleh Al-Awwad, Advisor to the Governor of Riyadh Province.

Under the patronage of Prince Salman, the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities will organize in Riyadh on March 27-31 Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Forum 2011.

The Director General of Public Relations and Information at the Principality of the Eastern Province Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Al-Sufayyan has said that the Principality will take part in the Forum emanating from continuing cooperation between the Principality and the Commission.

Prince Salman also received the President of National Anti-Corruption Commission Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Sharif.

The Prince congratulated him on the royal confidence in appointing him to his new post, wishing him all success.

On the other hand, under the patronage of Prince Naif Ibn Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, Prince Mohammed Ibn Naif Ibn Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Interior for Security Affairs attended the graduation ceremony of qualification courses of Public Security comprising of 4,066 graduates.

In his speech, the Director General of Public Security Lieutenant General Said bin Abdullah Al-Qahtani expressed his thanks to and appreciation of Prince Naif for patronizing the ceremony which affirms the attention and care provided by the Saudi Leadership to security men.

Then , Prince Mohammed Ibn Naif opened the Institute of Traffic, Institute of Forensic Science and Prince Mohammed Ibn Naif Olympic Swimming Pool.
