Crown Prince Sultan congratulates Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on pledge-allegiance anniversary

Prince Sultan: Development achievements strengthened nation’s march, security, stability and people’s welfare

Second Deputy Premier Prince Naif, Governor of Riyadh, Prince Meshal, Prince Saud, governors celebrate pledge-allegiance anniversary, praise King Abdullah’s accomplishments

Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General has congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Saudi people on the 6th pledge-allegiance anniversary.

This came in a press statement by the Crown Prince in which he said 'As our country celebrates the 6th anniversary of the pledge-allegiance to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, I am honored to extend congratulations to the King and the Saudi people on this great occasion. On this day, we express pride in the leader of our march and pioneer of our country's comprehensive development, the leader who is guided by the fear of Allah and who has dedicated himself to the service of his religion and loyal people.

'Since he assumed power, the King felt the burden of responsibility; however, he sought aid and strength from Allah and then from his people.

The King has translated words into deeds, establishing justice and serving all people in continuation of the approach followed by the Founder of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman.

'During his prosperous reign, great development achievements have been accomplished that enhance the welfare of his people.

The latest Royal Orders he has issued after his safe return home are proof that he has always sensed the needs of his people, and that he has always stood ready to meet them at any time.

'The people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have shown the whole world their commitment to the faith, principles and solidarity with its leadership and that they will allow no one to spoil these well-rooted and intimate bonds, a fact for which Allah should be thanked and praised.

'If the great achievements of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques stand as an eye witness within the Kingdom, his initiatives and bold efforts to mend fences, unite the ranks and defend the causes of Muslims and Arabs have never stopped.

The King's humane initiatives for dialogue to face dilemmas, disunities and extremism witnessed by our contemporary world have provided the international community with the model of his civic and elevated method he has drawn from the principle of the sublime Islamic Faith.

'While we supplicate to Allah Almighty to save our leader the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, we pray to Allah to bless and support the King, and we pray to Allah to bless our country with safety and stability.'

Meanwhile, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Saudi people on the 6th pledge-allegiance anniversary.

This came in a statement by Prince Naif on this occasion.

He hailed achievements accomplished by the king during his six-year reign domestically and internationally.

The Second Deputy Premier reviewed some of the great traits enjoyed by the king and the citizens' needs he met during the last six years.

Prince Naif highlighted the king's care for citizens and the kingdom's stability and economic strength due to the king's wise policy and directives.

He stressed the high status enjoyed by the kingdom in the world and the kingdom's support for GCC, Arab, Islamic and other countries. He mentioned the kingdom's membership in the G20 saying it was due to the king's sound leadership.

Prince Salman Ibn Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh Province, who is also the Chairman of High Commission for the Development of Arriyadh, inspected the Development Project of King Abdullah Road and opened the middle sections of the Road after their completion by the Commission.

Upon arrival at the venue, he was received by Prince Dr. Abdulaziz Ibn Mohammed Ibn Ayyaf Al Muqrin, the Mayor of Riyadh.

In a press statement, Prince Salman praised Allah Almighty for the blessings of security and stability during the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince, saying, ' I am pleased to say that we deliberately opened King Abdullah Road which is a model road, on the anniversary of the allegiance pledge to the King to serve as Riyadh's practical celebrations on this occasion.'

He pointed out that the 20 km long Road will facilitate traffic, noting that it includes underground tunnels and bridges as well as preparations for an express train (Metro).

The Prince said, 'We are now in the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques enjoying security and stability which make actions directed toward the development and reform in all State's facilities and provinces.'

Prince Salman was accompanied by Prince Mohammed Ibn Salman Ibn Abdulaziz, Special Advisor to the Governor of Riyadh Province and Minister of Transport Dr. Jubarah bin Eid Al-Suraysiri.

A number of governors, princes, and ministers have congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, and expressed their delight on the 6th anniversary of the allegiance-pledge to the King.

In speeches, statements and remarks on this occasion, they have commended the King for gigantic achievements, comprehensive developmental quantum leaps and great initiatives to modernize the Kingdom in all fields and to put the Kingdom on the list of advanced countries.

In a speech on this occasion, Prince Salman Ibn Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh Province, said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has achieved great strides in all fields of developmental projects including among others education, health and social care, noting that the Kingdom has managed to achieve development and modernization while preserving the State's foundations and assuming its responsibilities to Arab and Islamic worlds as a guardian of the Two Holy Mosques.

Prince Salman said the Kingdom has been proud over its unity, cohesion and cooperation between the leadership and people over its history.

In another statement on this occasion, Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, said that before six years and during his allegiance-pledge as the King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the King promised to adopt the Holy Quran as a constitution, Islam as an approach and to be preoccupied with the achievement of justice and the service to all people of this country, noting that the King always repeats in his audiences with his people, 'Be patient and I will fulfill my promise' .

He prayed to Allah Almighty to crown the King's efforts with all success and to preserve the Kingdom's security, stability and glory.

On his part, Prince Meshal Ibn Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz, the Governor of Najran, said in a statement that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has achieved gigantic achievements in all fields for six years since the allegiance-pledge to the King which is a short period in the history of nations and peoples, and recorded a bright page in the history of the Kingdom.

He pointed out that the King has dedicated himself to the glory of the homeland, and the achievement of all aspirations of citizens, noting that the King has approved the largest budget in the Kingdom's history to implement all projects to achieve prosperity for citizens.

In his statement, Prince Faisal Ibn Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority said that the King has unique skills and far-sighted and distinctive visions, noting in this regard the King's great achievements at home and abroad including the spread of culture of dialogue and services and support for Islam and Muslims and their causes.

'We are proud of cohesion between the Saudi leadership and people,' he said, stressing that the King has kept abreast of progress according to the Holy Quran and Prophet's Sunnah.

On his part, Prince Sultan Ibn Salman Ibn Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities has commended the King for his great achievements and initiatives to modernize the Kingdom in all fields and to put the Kingdom on top of the ranks of developed nations.

In another statement, Prince Dr. Faisal Ibn Meshal Ibn Saud Ibn Abdulaziz, Vice Governor of Qassim Province, said that the King has made great accomplishments in all the fields and achieved progress, prosperity, stability and security for the Kingdom and its people.

On his part, Prince Fahd Ibn Badr Ibn Abdulaziz, the Governor of Jouf Province, pointed out that during the King's era, the Kingdom has witnessed comprehensive and integrated developments in a record time in all political, economic, religious, educational, social, health and industrial fields, indicating that the King has put the Kingdom among advanced nations.

In his statement, Prince Mishari Ibn Saud Ibn Abdulaziz, the Governor of Baha, said that since the King's allegiance-pledge, his achievements have been registered in the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and based on the support for the religion, the accomplishment of the dignity for citizens and the building of the homeland.

In his statement, Prince Ahmad Ibn Abdulaziz, Vice Minister of Interior said that the King's allegiance-pledge anniversary is an occasion to renew loyalty and love for the Saudi leadership.

He said that the King has made during six years of reign gigantic achievements for the Kingdom and the peoples of the region as a whole including the opening of many economic and scientific accomplishments and the latest one Princess Nora Bint Abdulrahman University which is a great scientific milestone and edifice along with the King's recent royal decrees for the prosperity of the Kingdom and its people.
