Prince Naif: Saudi Arabia would not be content with wasting Arab blood unless in situations of honor

Prince Khalid al-Faisal lays foundation stone for residential project in Jeddah

Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, patronized on Wednesday the annual celebration and the graduation ceremony at Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS).

Upon arrival at the venue, the Prince was received by President of NAUSS Dr. Abdulaziz bin Saqr Al-Ghamdi and a number of officials.

Then, the Director of United Nations Regional Office on Drugs and Crimes in Abu Dhabi Hatem Ali delivered a speech where he hailed the scientific efforts of NAUSS and the cooperation with the United Nations. He also expressed the pride of UN to the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting UN programs.

Then, the Director General of Programs and Projects at International Organization for Migration (IOM) Fawzi Mohsen Al-Zioud lauded the support efforts exerted by Prince Naif for the NAUSS. He also thanked the NAUSS on its cooperation with IOM to serve security and stability.

Meanwhile, the Director General of Training at International Criminal Police Organization 'Interpol' said that he will represent the Secretary General of the organization to sign cooperation agreement between the NAUSS and Interpol and to attend the final celebration of training development officer program in collaboration with the NAUSS.

Then, Polish Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Witold Smidowski delivered a speech where he hailed bilateral relations between the two countries. He also lauded the Kingdom's role at the international arena.

Then, Prince Naif delivered a speech in which he hailed the university's efforts.

Prince Naif wished stability restoration for the Arab situation.

On the current events in the Arab countries, Prince Naif rejected Arab infighting and hoped for a speedy end for events taking place in the Arab countries.

He stressed the importance of security for stability and called for fighting the spread of narcotics.

He called on the security men to deal well with people and said criminals should be both punished and rehabilitated and also should be treated humanely.

Meanwhile, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, the Governor of Makkah Province laid the foundation stone for a residential neighborhood in Jeddah on Wednesday.

The Mayor of Jeddah Dr. Hany Abu-Ras has pointed out that project is be built on an area of 3 million square meters covering 25,000 housing units along with many educational and health services as well as sports and recreation facilities.

On the other hand, President of the Islamic Development Bank Group, Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Ali extended great thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his considerable support to the bank since its establishment, highlighting the keenness of the Monarch to support all What would enhance the joint Islamic action.
