Crown Prince Sultan receives King of Morocco at his residence in Agadir

Friendly talks between Prince Sultan, King Mohammed VI focus on bilateral relations, means to boost them in all fields

Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, received in Agadir King Mohammad VI of Morocco.

During the audience, they exchanged cordial talks and reviewed relations between the two countries.

The audience was attended by a number of princes and senior officials.

Meanwhile, Crown Prince Sultan has sent a cable of thanks to Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saud, Minister of Education on the occasion of the Kingdom's winning of the first place in the Fifth Arab Chemical Olympics Competition for male and female students of the secondary stage, which was held in Jeddah in cooperation with Saudi Chemical Society and the Federation of Arab alchemists.

In his reply cable, the Crown Prince thanked Allah Almighty for this scientific excellence and the Minister of Education for his keenness and interest in the development of education.

The crown prince also expressed thanks to the director of the King Saud University, Dr. Abdullah al-Othman, and the university staff on the occasion of the scientific breakthrough achieved by the university regarding the discovery of the correlation between obesity and diabetes on one hand and women’s pre-menstrual breast cancer on the other.

“We thank you for that and we appreciate the efforts exerted by you and your staff while we wish you more progress and success,” Crown Prince Sultan said in his cable to the King Saud University director.

On the other hand, the Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Charity Foundation was praised in a book was described by a book as a one providing numerous humanitarian services under the sponsorship of Prince Sultan, a pioneer of philanthropic work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The book, the third about development centers that was published by Abdullah bin Ali bin Aftan, the supervisor of the centers in the region of Assir, has reviewed several foundations in Saudi Arabia that are concerned with charity housing projects, including that of Crown Prince Sultan.

The book has offered a brief chapter on Sultan bin Abdulaziz Charity Foundation’s trailblazer housing program in the different regions of the kingdom upon directives from the supreme chairman of the foundation as part of his keenness on improving citizens’ standards of living and offering them a decent life that would help them serve themselves and their society.

The program has so far finalized 671 furnished housing units in six regions – Assir, Tabuk, Najran, Hael, Makkah and Riyadh, all of them provided with all public utilities including mosques, schools and health centers as well as services like electricity, water, sanitary sewage and telephones.

Directives were given by the Crown Prince, the Foundation’s Supreme Chairman, to add 880 units distributed over the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Tabuk and Hael.

In Makkah’s al-Layth area 200 units will be set up, while the villages south of Makkah will get 100, upping the total number there to 480, Madinah’s al-Nujeil-al-Ola area will get 100 units, upping the total number of housing units built by the foundation there to 280.

In this context, the governor Tabuk, Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, has gone on a tour of several provinces in the region, where he laid the cornerstones for several housing projects as a first stage to carry out the instructions of Crown Prince Sultan, that envisaged the construction of 250 new housing units in Tabuk.
