Saudi leaders condoles with President Mubarak and his family
The 12-year-old grandson of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has died, the official MENA news agency reported on Tuesday.
Mohammed Mubarak, son of President Mubarak's eldest son Alaa, "died (Monday) after health complications suffered during the last two days," MENA said, without elaborating.
The 12-year-old boy had been taken to Paris for treatment.
First Lady Suzanne Mubarak on Monday cancelled a trip to London to be with her grandson, Al-Shorooq newspaper said.
Mohammed's funeral was to take place in Cairo later on Tuesday.
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has sent a cable on condolences to Egyptian President Mohammad Honsi Mubarak on the death of his grandson Mohammad Alaa Mohammad Honsi Mubarak.
A similar cable has been sent by Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, to the Egyptian president on the death of his grandson.
The Ain al-Yaqeen staff is offering heartfelt condolences to President Mubarak and Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak over the death of their grandson Mohammad and praying for his father Alaa Mubarak and his spouse that God Almighty bestows mercy on soul of the deceased.
