Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior received the Rector of Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz University Dr. Issa bin Hassan Al-Ansari.

The meeting was attended by Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of the Eastern Region.

Prince Naif commended the university and the Program of Development of Youth supported by Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, pointing out that the program helps young people who are unsuccessful in obtaining high grades in secondary education to enroll in universities and to get jobs suitable to their skills.

The meeting was attended by a number of princes.

Prince Naif patronized in Dhahran on Thursday an honoring ceremony for the batch 24th of Dhahran Schools. Prince Naif was accompanied by Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of the Eastern Region and Prince Jelawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, the Region's Vice Governor.

A speech ceremony was held on this occasion.

Addressing the meeting, Prince Naif commended the King and the Crown Prince for their great efforts for the glory and safety of this country.

Prince Naif said, "Praise be to Allah Almighty that we are one people and one nation. We are characterized by the morality of Islam. Our constitution is Islam. We are committed to the Holy Quran and Prophet's Sunnah (Tradition). They are our approach in this life and a motivation for us all to get everything in life including progress in the field of science, knowledge and technology as well as all innovations of this time."

Prince Naif called on students to adhere to the morality and objectives of their fathers based on the nation's fundamental principles including commitment to the religion and its service as well as the interest and the service of the homeland.

He added that others will not respect us unless we respect ourselves and put ourselves in the appropriate place.

Addressing those students wishing to travel abroad, Prince Naif said that you are our ambassadors abroad, noting that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia should be known by its citizens abroad who should honor us through their morality, dignity and manners.

In another speech on behalf of the graduates, Prince Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, stressed that the graduates will exert all efforts to serve their religion, leadership and homeland.

The Prince thanked Prince Naif for patronizing the graduation ceremony, and Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, the Honorary President of the schools for supporting education in the Eastern Region.

Prince Naif graced in Dammam on Friday evening a ceremony organized by Princess Jawaher Center of 'Masha'el Al-Khair' which is one of the projects of Al-Bir Society in the Eastern Region.

Prince Naif toured the Center, expressing his admiration of workshops, exhibitions and lounges that allow the implementation of women's vocational training and recreational programs.

Prince Naif watched a video-show about projects of Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz for Housing in the Eastern Region.

In a press statement following the tour, Prince Naif described Prince Mohammad Program for Development of Youth and Princess Jawaher Center as one of the charitable projects catering to the needs of humanitarian services and facilities for the care of orphans and children.

Prince Naif was accompanied by Governor of the Eastern Region Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, who is also the Chairman of Board of Directors of Al-Bir Society and a number of princes.

Also, Prince Naif approved the establishment of a chair for the development of youths at Prince Mohammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Private University in the Eastern Region under the name "Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Chair for the Development of Youths."

This came after Prince Naif was briefed on the university.

The chair aims at comprehensively discussing issues pertaining to the development of youths in the kingdom and identifying successful practices in this field.

Prince Naif received in al-Khobar the Rector of Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz University Dr. Issa bin Hassan Al-Ansari.

Prince Naif held in Riyadh a dinner party in honor of Dr. Schauble and his accompanying delegation.

The party was attended by Prince Ahmed bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Interior; a number of princes and officials.
