Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques tours KAUST project in Thuwal
Prince Mohammed bin Naif inaugurates projects at King Fahd Security College
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud paid an inspection visit to the project of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) located in Thuwal in the western part of the Kingdom.
The first academic year of the university will start on 5th of September, 2009.
The university's official inauguration will take place during the Kingdom's celebrations of its 79th National Day anniversary.
Upon arrival at the venue, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was received by Eng. Khalid Al-Faleh, President and CEO of Saudi Armco; Eng. Ali Al-Ajmi, Vice President of Saudi Armco; Nazhmi Al-Nasser, the First Deputy President of KAUST and a number of officials.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was briefed on the contents and progress of the project.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was accompanied by Prince Saud al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Prince Meqrin bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence; Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saud, Minister of Education; Prince Khalid bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, member of the Board of Trustees of KAUST; Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saud, Adviser to the King; Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, adviser to the King, and member of the Board of Trustees of KAUST; Prince Mansour bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, adviser to the King; Prince Dr. Bandar bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Saud, Adviser to the King; Prince Mansour bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, member of the Board of Trustees of KAUST; Prince Abdulaziz bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz; Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, Minister of Culture and Information and a number of high-ranking officials.
On the other hand, Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Assistant Minister of Interior for Security affairs toured King Fahd Security College (KFSC) and opened a number of new projects there.
He was received by General Mahmoud Mohammed Bakhs, Chairman of the Higher Officers Committee and Major General Abdulrahman Abdulaziz Al Fadda, the Director General of KFSC.
Prince Mohammed bin Naif also launched a number of projects including Governmental Resources Management System, KFSC Integrated Security System, Identity verification section and forensics center.
