Crown Prince Sultan donates 10 million SR for King Abdulaziz Charity for Women in Qassim
Society boasts key achievements in social, cultural, health, developmental spheres
Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, who is also the Chief President of Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Charity, donated 10 million Saudi Riyals in support of King Abdulaziz Charity for Women in Qassim to implement an investment project.
This was announced by Prince Faisal bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Secretary General of Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Charity, pointing out that this gesture of Crown Prince comes in the framework of constant support for charity works in the Kingdom and keenness on continuing services and upgrading development projects.
Prince Faisal said the vision adopted by the Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Charity focused since its establishment on "helping the people to help themselves", a work strategy governing the foundation's relationship with channels of charity and humanitarian activities in the kingdom.
The foundation never dawdles on stretching a helping hand in every way possible for all charity societies providing service and development programs targeting a change in the people's reality and improvement of their living conditions.
The foundation's secretary general added that the King Abdulaziz Charity for Women, ever since its establishment more than 25 years ago, has been successfully achieving remarkable upsurge in the fields of social action and cultural, health and developmental domains through the adoption of a system of objective programs and projects like the center on development of neighborhoods, the circulating loan fund, the family guidance center, the project for care of orphans inside their families, the project for care of impoverished families.
The King Abdulaziz Charity for Women in Qassim, set up in 1400 AH, comprises several sectors: the main center, the center for the rehabilitation of the disabled, a kindergarten and an institute for the training and rehabilitation of Qassim girls.
