This came in a speech delivered by Naif bin Bandar al-Sederi, the Saudi foreign ministry advisor, during a meeting of the experts panel of the signatories of the agreement under ambassador Massoud Khan, Pakistan's permanent delegate to the United Nations' European headquarters in Geneva.

Sederi pointed out that the Kingdom's delegation to these meetings had reviewed in more than one occasion the important steps taken by government organizations to activate the agreement at the national level.

"The role played by the UN and other international organizations requires them to respect the objectives for which they were established, on top of these objectives is undoubtedly the maintaining of world peace and security as provided by the UN Charter," Sederi said.
