Crown Prince receives Iraqi National Security Advisor
Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, received in Riyadh Iraqi National Security Advisor Dr. Mowafaq Alrobaia'i and the accompanying delegation.
During the audience, they exchanged cordial talks and discussed issues of common interest.
The audience was attended by Prince Moqrin bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence, other princes and officials.
Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, received at his palace in Riyadh female deans of faculties and members of teaching staff of Umm Al-Qura University.
During the audience, the Crown Prince commended the efforts of the University in serving the march of higher education in the Kingdom along with other Saudi universities that have contributed to preparing national cadres in various scientific and cultural specializations.
The Crown Prince added that the road to modernization and development in the Kingdom has been in progress in all areas including education since the Kingdom's foundation by late King Abdulaziz, noting that the presence of tens of boys and girls universities, colleges and institutes in various regions of the Kingdom is an evidence of this comprehensive progress including education, economy, management and administration and human development in addition to modernization of the state's systems and upgrading of the efficiency of the governmental bodies.
The Crown Prince added, "The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has given considerable attention to enhancement of the principle of the national dialogue and human rights.
The Kingdom realizes the need to keep abreast of developments in the world and to open up to new and useful matters that do not contradict with the religion".
He said that the Kingdom witnessed today a process of continual development in response to the policy of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques regarding development in various areas, including the opening of more universities, cultural and educational institutions and upgrading qualified outputs in the service of the religion and the homeland.
The Crown Prince expressed his pleasure over the advanced level reached by Saudi women scientifically and practically, their efforts in the service of the nation, and adherence to the teachings of the tolerant religion, traditions and good customs, wishing them all success.
Crown Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Defense and Aviation Minster, has been selected for the second consecutive year as the Man of the Year for Humanitarian Services, according to an opinion poll conducted by Kuwaiti Arabic language daily Al-Sharq.
Dr. Majed Al-Gosaibi, Director General of Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Foundation, said the Crown Prince’s selection for the second consecutive year reflects his efforts in the field of social development.
The Crown Prince founded Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Charitable Foundation in 1995 which has been categorized as the best humanitarian organization at the level of Arab and Islamic countries by an international philanthropist organization.
The London-based World Philanthropists Organization chose Prince Sultan Foundation for the philanthropist of the year award in 2006 in appreciation of its humanitarian activities at Muslim, Arab and international levels.
The organization issued a report detailing the works achieved by Prince Sultan Charitable Foundation in the field of philanthropy. In 2003, it won the King Faisal International Prize. The Foundation is a manifestation of Crown Prince Sultan’s charitable and humanitarian efforts.
Army medical services is executing Prince Sultan 12th primarily health treatment campaign in Karyat starting from Saturday till two weeks upon directives by Crown Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Defense and Aviation Minster.
This campaign aims at providing medical and preventive services for citizens, performing medical checkups and treating diseases, under specialized medical and technical supervision.
